CSNW Benefits is the managing general agent for The Pacific Northwest Employers Life, Health Insurance Trust, a program of Cascade Employers Association

This program provides employee benefit solutions to Oregon companies allowing them access to the same purchasing power as large firms. And through Cascade Employers Association, employers also get access to local human resource management solutions.

The Trust is governed by a group of participating employers acting as Trustees for the sole benefit of the participants of the various programs. The Trust was created with both Employer and Employee in mind - to maintain high quality benefits while keeping costs under control.

Cascade Employers Association

Cascade Employers Association is a local organization providing boots on the ground, down-to-earth knowledge and resources in virtually all areas of human resource management. Their areas of expertise include:

  • Employment law compliance, such as developing employee handbooks and policies, and helping employers navigate the multitude of regulations
  • Guidance on discipline and termination situations
  • Set-up of HR practices for employers who don’t have much in place but know they should
  • Helping employers with areas of expertise they don’t have in-house, like compensation plan design, writing job descriptions, recruitment, etc.
  • Training for those with HR, supervisory and leadership responsibilities
  • Local and national pay data for over 500 job titles
